Patriotic Pops

Gather family and friends to honor Independence Day with the Cincinnati Pops at Riverbend. This patriotic collection of songs, fun and fanfare is quintessentially American. Community goodwill fills the Riverbend lawn, where picnics are welcome and Pops fans 17 and under sit for free, courtesy of Toyota. Enjoy an evening of beloved and familiar music, a view of the river, and a sparkling canopy of fireworks following the concert.
all Patriotic Pops ticket holders enjoy FREE classic rides all day. Rides open at 11 am.

KSO Summer Concert Series
Saturday, July 8, 2017 - Saturday, September 2, 2017: 7:30 pm

Join the KSO under the stars this summer for a spectucular series of free, family-friendly performances in the beautiful, natural setting of Devou Park Bandshell. Bring a picnic basket, sit back and make some memories that will last a lifetime.

July 8 - "Let Freedom Sing" Area vocalists Rob Reider and Nancy James, along with the KSO Chorale, join forces with the KSO to celebrate and give thanks for our nation’s freedom.

August 5 - "Fit as a Fiddle II" The KSO reprises the Beethoven 5K Run — see if you can run a 5K before we finish Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 — and then gets you in shape with an orchestra-accompanied aerobics class in “Sweatin’ to the Symphony.” It’s all part of the KSO's participation in Covington’s Outdoor Weekend. Don’t need a workout? No problem. Just relax and enjoy the parade of classical favorites!

September 2 - "Remembering WKRP" We’re livin’ on the air in Cincinnati again! The KSO Boogie Band brings back tunes by Toto, Michael Jackson, Bob Seger, the Pointer Sisters, Queen, and more that were heard on WKRP in Cincinnati, Cincy’s favorite fictional radio station. The classic sitcom ran from 1978-82.

Family ARTventures Tours and Art Stops

For everyone, every age! Here’s the chance to interact with “touchable” art objects. These family-oriented tours and Art Stops actually allow you to do just that, and are led by our knowledgeable Cincinnati Art Museum docents, allowing families to get to know our collections hands-on. FREE! Reservations not required.

Tours are Saturdays at 1:00 pm

Art Stops are Sundays at 3:00 pm.
