KSO Summer Concert Series
Saturday, July 8, 2017 - Saturday, September 2, 2017: 7:30 pm
Devou Park Amphitheater
Covington, KY

Join the KSO under the stars this summer for a spectucular series of free, family-friendly performances in the beautiful, natural setting of Devou Park Bandshell. Bring a picnic basket, sit back and make some memories that will last a lifetime.

July 8 - "Let Freedom Sing" Area vocalists Rob Reider and Nancy James, along with the KSO Chorale, join forces with the KSO to celebrate and give thanks for our nation’s freedom.

August 5 - "Fit as a Fiddle II" The KSO reprises the Beethoven 5K Run — see if you can run a 5K before we finish Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 — and then gets you in shape with an orchestra-accompanied aerobics class in “Sweatin’ to the Symphony.” It’s all part of the KSO's participation in Covington’s Outdoor Weekend. Don’t need a workout? No problem. Just relax and enjoy the parade of classical favorites!

September 2 - "Remembering WKRP" We’re livin’ on the air in Cincinnati again! The KSO Boogie Band brings back tunes by Toto, Michael Jackson, Bob Seger, the Pointer Sisters, Queen, and more that were heard on WKRP in Cincinnati, Cincy’s favorite fictional radio station. The classic sitcom ran from 1978-82.
